Types of Contribution
The 23rd International Conference on Process Control accepts two types of submissions:
– full papers (nominally 6 pages),
– abstract-only contributions (not exceed 250 words).
Accepted full papers will be submitted to IEEEXplore (indexed in WoS and Scopus).
Abstract-only submissions are ideal for presenting preliminary results or sharing ideas. Please note, that abstract-only submissions will only appear in the Conference Proceedings (including assigned ISBN), but will NOT be submitted to IEEEXplore.
Format of Full Paper

for both, the initial submission and for final full papers.
Authors are required to submit the full paper in PDF format.
The PDF file must not contain page numbering or any headers and footers. The size of the pages must be set to “A4”.
The page limit for submissions is 8 pages for the initial submission and 6 pages for the final version. Please note, that the submissions over 6 page limit (up to a maximum limit of 8 pages) lead to an additional charge of EUR 80 per page.
Authors have the option to select a preference for presentation format (lecture or poster presentation), although the organizers will make a final decision based on an effective overall programme design.
Format of Abstract-Only Submissions
Abstracts are to be submitted as plain text with no special formatting, no LaTeX processing and/or other formatting is allowed.
Peer review will be based on abstract only.

All the contributions will be submitted through the online
conference management system.
Awards Candidates
Several prestigious awards will be granted at the conference.

– if the leading author is a female researcher,

– if the leading author is a young researcher under 35 years.

Instruction for Speakers
Accepted contributions can be presented as a regular talk or as a poster.
Lectures
The online format of the lecture:
- Prepare a video (including an audio track) of your presentation.
- The video presentation can be prepared using MS PowerPoint, Zoom, Google Meet, OBS Studio, etc.
- The maximum length of the video is 15 minutes and the file size is limited to 250 MB.
- Please use 16:9 aspect ratio, full HD resolution (1920×1080), bitrate 8-10 Mbps (5Mbps is recommended). Accepted video formats are: mp4 (recommended), flv, mov, avi.
- Upload your video through https://cms.process-control.sk (in: “My profile” section).
Poster Presentation
The online format of the poster:
- The poster presentation will feature a display of a PDF and a short video presentation. Only poster presentations with the video would be considered for the Best poster award.
- The PDF should have an A1 paper size.
- The video presentation can be prepared using MS PowerPoint, Zoom, Google Meet, OBS Studio, etc.
- The maximum length of the video is 3 minutes and the file size is limited to 100 MB.
- For the video, please use a 16:9 aspect ratio, full HD resolution (1920×1080), and bitrate 8-10 Mbps (5Mbps recommended). Accepted video formats are: mp4 (recommended), flv, mov, avi.
- Upload your PDF and video through https://cms.process-control.sk (in My profile section).
Upload deadline
Please upload all the presentation files by May, 3. Failing to meet this deadline would need to be considered as a “no show” and the corresponding contribution would not be included in the conference proceeding.
